Dr. Mim Plavin-Masterman

My 2018 book Everything Old is New Again, (Business Expert Press) examines the discourse around development processes involving rail trails. I combine interviews, document analysis, site visits, and census tract data to determine how Friends of the Park organizations (501c3s) successfully navigate institutional settings to create public spaces and manage the discourse around these proposed spaces.
